Hey, Im in a contest at work and i will win a very cool prize if i can get this one right!! I cannot find the answer anywhere!! HELP

  1. Very little. The amount of oil used to produce virgin polymer is only about 3% of the worlds usage. With all the new synthitic polymer oil consumption is very low.


  2. The annual amount of oil expended to produce plastic bottles sold in the United States is enough to fuel 100,000 cars for an entire year.

    I'm not sure if the souce is actually correct, but there is a good chance this is where they got the info for your contest.
