  1. 1 ounce [UK, liquid] = 28.413 062 5 cubic centimeters

    1 ounce [US, liquid] = 29.573 529 563 cubic centimeters

  2. Cute play on words but the majority of us don't consider that we live in the land of Oz.

I think most of us refer to our country as Australia and not Oz.

BTW - I'm a true blue Aussie, born and bred, and I don't refer to Australia as Oz and neither does anyone I know, both young and old.

Oz was a popular term to use back in the 1960's but I didn't use it back then either.

[To think I gave cc a thumbs up and then he goes and calls me a Kiwi.]     :)

Just in case you seriously want an answer.......

    It's generally accepted that:

1 fluid ounce = 30 millilitre or 30 cubic centimeters

(One ounce is equal to 29.57353 cubic centimetres.)

(One fluid ounce is equal to 29.57353 millilitres.)

  3. one.   (ahem huge coincidence but see my name  <----)

    edit:

    1.  ..and oh yeah,  Australia is 100% metric.   oz. is not used here

    2.  Elizabeth must be a kiwi or something, because 90% of us Australians call our country Oz in normal speech.  It may not be Queens English but it is most definitely Australian English.   This in much the same way as most of us call ourselves Aussies and not Australians.    Only the grammar n**i's are so particular about such trivialities.

post post edit: and thats a thumbs down for elizabeth for being not only a bad sport but un-Australian too.  Oh and lady, get out and see your own country, there is a lot more too it than you seem to have experienced.  Get out of the city, leave your chardonnay, and visit the real Australia.

  4. 30 cc per ounce

  5. I think by mistake you put this question in Australia, if you want more answers you wil have to repost. We don't actually use oz as a measurement in Australia.
