OMG ever hurd of ESTIMATES? you dont need to count them to know how many cedars there actualy are so dont say stuff like i never count them or there is too much too count i u dont know then save yourself and the asker some time anyway a good estimate would be around 500 trees.

much .. more than u could count..

the count made r for the "cedar reservation " spot .. but i do know that many places has moooooooore than in the cedar mountains it self " example : tannourine .. "  it has a big forest of cedars even bigger than the known one.. and many residences, in all the mountains of Lebanon ,has a few trees in front of there houses.. so  i am sure that they r pretty much.. a huge amount in Lebanon .. more than anyone could count ..

the 3oo - 4oo - 5oo people are talking about are only in the "Holy Cedar Preserve" .. this one is in Bcharre , but there are 2 other preserves (Tannourine & Chouf) which have many more, with extensive re-planting taking place in Turkey  ...

There are some 400 trees remaining, some are over 1500 years old. The Cedar tree, majestic and indestructible, is the emblem of our Lebanon and adorns our flag.

They are called Cedars of the Lord, they were used to build the Jewish temple in Jerusalem.

There are a lot of Lebanese cedar; or at least there use to be. Recently, (like a few months ago) there was a fire started that burned (I think) a good number of trees. Also, when the Phoencians were trading the wood, it was very strong and thus it was rapidly cut down. And so, you can't really count how many cedars there are, but I hope they continue to grow in numbers.

we have a whole preservation for it "Ceder Preservation" in Arz "Me7meyyet el Arez" .... I've been there, it's a peice of art with thousands of cedar trees ... The symbol in the middle of our flag is a cedar so u can imagine how much we have of them that we used it as our symbol

Dunno..it's been a long time since anyone did a census !

My guess , 400 in the ground & zillions on flags , jewellery & in the hearts of all who love Lebanon !
