How many chances do you get at a rubik's cube competition?

And, it depends on the event. If it's something like a cube speedsolve, for example the 3x3 speedsolve, you get 5 chances, and the best and worst times are taken off, giving you the middle three #'s as your avg.

If it's something like BLD solving for other puzzle solves, you get 3 chances. BLD, your best time is counted, no avg, and for others are special cases.
