How many chapters/episodes of Star Wars did George Lucas write?

I know that they made 1-6, but I thought that he had written additional chapters/episodes? Did he? Not counting Clone Wars.

The general story is that Lucas had this great space epic and broke it up into 9 parts.  The first three parts being the newer movies, the middle three the originals, and finally 3 more with a time frame sometime after Return of the Jedi.
