  1. There is no record of Queen of Sheba, Makeda, having any other children than Menelik I, originally named Ebna la-Hakim. Since he assumed the role of Emperor, he must have been the oldest child. Traditional records list him as 'the son' so he didn't have any brothers.

According to the Bible, the Queen of Sheba had no children by King Solomon. Her sole reason for meeting with him was for trade discussions. However, the Ethiopian account differs by stating that she had a son by him.

"The ancient compilation of Ethiopian legends Kebra Negast ('the Glory of Kings'), is supposed to record the history of Makeda and her descendants. King Solomon is said in this account to have seduced the Queen, and sired a son by her, who would eventually become Menelik I, the first Emperor of Ethiopia."

Edit: Thank you for your patience. I could not complete an answer initially without researching further. I hope this helps.

Please note: There are no official records. Much of what is 'known' is based on tradition. It is difficult to ascertain where tradition ends and legend begins.
