I've heard he's a very light smoker.  Only a few here and there.

Still seems a bit hypocritical that he wants to lead the party that's made smoking all but criminal while being a smoker himself.

I don't think it really matters that he smokes or how many he smokes. We don't choose the lifestyle for a president. Bad influence? Maybe.

Obama stopped smoking before his campaign.

McCain also used to smoke for 25 years.

When those guys were young, a lot of people smoked back then. They never knew about cancer, or how smoking could have been harmful to you.
