To Canada 200 cigarets and 50 cigars.

To the United States, as many as you want but you must declare it and may have to pay duty on any over 200 cigarettes (1 carton)  per person.

Legally, the limit is 1 carton (20 packs). I have brought more though, if they don't open your bags at customs, your home free.

The Dom Rep doesn't restrict the amount of cigarettes you can bring out at all, so you can bring out as many as you want.

Most countries however, have restrictions on the number of cigarettes you can bring IN without paying duties - so it depends on where you are going TO.
