  1. i know when i had 1 a few years ago i could take it on any road in indiana exept the express ways and if you cant do 60 any thig on a highway that starts I.. is suicide

  2. The number doesn't matter, I think it has to be over 188cc. I've ridden a Vespa 200 on the freeway with no problem.

  3. there is no cylinder limit. to be street legal it must ahve a headlight, taillight, turn signals, a horn, and a lisence. if it's over 50cc you have to have a motorcycle lisence to ride it.

  4. to run any motorized vehicle on a highway it must meet certain criteria. It is not based on cylinders. Since it differs from state to state, you can check your states local dmv web site online and it will tell you. IE: nysdmv.org

will tell you about New York regulations for motorized vehicles legal for riding in the street. Quickest way to find your state, google it and type in your states name and the word DMV.

    Hope this helps.

  5. Try a couple of V8s for energy. 6 double A's in your pocket and 1 gallon of JP-4 in your knap sack. And a good pair of sneakers for traction, and try to keep it under 55

  6. In California, there's no minimal number of cylinders to permit a scooter to drive on a highway.  Any scooter above 150 ccs displacement is allowed on the highway.

    Good luck!

  7. It is not the number of cylinders that  determine the legality  of the vehicle you have to consider top speed ,, turn signals  emissions  head and tail lights   and if your state will license it  or not  Lots of luck

  8. that's not it most scooters have only one cylinder. but the problem is that most scooter can only go 50 MPH tops the more expensive ones can do like 80 mph. To be road legal you need to have fenders to cover the wheels a head light and tail light and turn signals and I think rear view mirrors.

  9. Agree with light, horn etc. but one other thing they require is to be able to go  a minimum amount of speed.

  10. well, i don't think it needs any cilinders....and if you wanna go on the hiway, well that doesn't exist. maybe you mean to ask about cylinders? and the highway?

  11. Details like that are in the Owners Manual of Vehicle.

Dealers and some used book stores can provide same manuals.  Provide Internet source to show where down-

load is possible for 2006 Patrol Model (look at product

video while visiting site).  Legal street use requirements are best obtained by personal visit to local office of Province

or State Department of Motor Vehicles; ask for rules that relate to motorized 2-wheel use.
