How many clubs should i join?

Question

okay im going to be a freshmen this year and i thought that it would a pretty good idea to join some clubs

so i was wondering what kind of clubs should i join

and how many?

If your school has a Leadership group, join that one.  I learned more from participating in Leadership than I learned in all the other classes combined.  In Leadership we had to think of activities for lunch time or dances held at night.  We organized School Idol, Survivor, Storm the Wall, and various sports and social activities.  All of the planning and fund raising and advertising was done by the students so we learned all about the steps required to host a successful event.

Hi!!!

I graduated high school in 06. Looking back I really wish I would have joined some clubs. I don't know what kind of clubs they have at your HS but which ones you join depend on what you like and what you'll be active in. I think it would be cool to be active in as many as you can. As long as you still focus on your school work. :) High school is an amazing experience. Enjoy it and do your best in school. You don't want to be looking back and regretting it like me! lol Good Luck!

i'm looking into the same thing for school too! as a junior though... haha Getting involved in clubs such as Key Club, environmental clubs, debate club, an academic club(as long as your interested in it), and other such clubs look great on college app.'s. but! don't overload yourself, freshman year can be pretty intimidating with the new homework load and once again being at the bottom of the food chain, so make sure you can handle what you get involved in. make sure you save time for yourself and do something you want to do like music or dancing, whatever it may be.
