How many colleges can i apply to?

can i apply to as many colleges as i want to? say if i get accepted by more than one, can i just pick which one to go to? when do i start applying?

You can apply to as many as u want.. but u can only put 5 on the fafsa application, but once its submitted u can add as much as 10

You can apply to as many as you want to, but you will have to write a separate essay and pay the application fee for each one you apply to. Then from all the ones you get accepted to, pick the one that is best for you. You can start applying in November, December, January. That's when I applied.
