Communism is a defunct system that cannot work except by repression.  When I was young I remember too well the idiots that used the strikes at the car factories as a political weapon, most of them are dead I hope, but there are a lot of communists in the present Labour 'government' longing for the 'good old days' to return, days when a good number were on the payroll of the Russian Communist Party!
