  1. It depends, I have heard 5, 6, and 7; with different countries teaching different things.

    Those I have heard:

    -America, Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania

-South America, North America, Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania

-South America, North America, Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, Antarctica

-America, Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, Antarctica

Can't tell you which one is correct.

  2. There are seven continents,

Africa, Antarctica, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, South America.

Cuba is a country in the Caribbean and isn't part of the U.S.  U.S. It was ruled by Fidel Castro for many years but is now ruled by his brother Raul Castro.

Antarctica is a continent located at the bottom of the world. There are absolutely 0 countries in Antarctica.

    Hope this helps !!!

  3. Africa, the Americas, Antarctica, Asia, Australia together with Oceania, and Europe are considered to be Continents.

The term continent is used to differentiate between the various large areas of the earth into which the land surface is divided. So, a continent is "a large, continuous area of land on Earth". All continents together constitute less than one-third of the earth's surface, that means more than two-thirds of the earth's surface are covered with water.

Two-thirds of the continental land mass is located in the Northern Hemisphere-

    Africa

    Americas

    Asia

    Australia and Oceania

    Europe

    Antarctica

Many geographers and scientists now refer to six continents, where Europe and Asia are combined (because they're one solid landmass).

  4. look at a map

  5. There are seven continents:

Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia

  6. A continent is one of several large landmasses on Earth. They are generally identified by convention rather than any strict criteria, with between five and seven regions commonly regarded as continents. The seven traditional continents are (from largest in size to smallest): Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.

The Republic of Cuba or República de Cuba consists of the island of Cuba, Isla de la Juventud and several adjacent small islands. Cuba is located in the northern Caribbean at the confluence of the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean. Cuba is south of the eastern United States and The Bahamas, west of the Turks and Caicos Islands and Haiti and east of Mexico. The Cayman Islands and Jamaica are to the south. Cuba is the most populous insular nation in the Caribbean.

Cuba is NOT part of the United States. Cuba is an enemy of the United States.

Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz (born August 13, 1926) is a Cuban revolutionary leader, who became that country's 22nd president and held office until his retirement in February 2008.

On February 19, 2008 Fidel Castro announced that he was resigning as President of Cuba. On 24 February 2008 Raúl Castro was elected as the new President of Cuba.

It is understood that Cuba is a dictatorship.

  7. Looking at a map won't help, as continents are purely a human invention.

There are normally considered to be seven continents: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Antarctica and Australia.

In the past, North and South America were considered one continent by some people; many people have never heard of Antarctica, and some people consider Europe and Asia to be one continent, so this explains the different numbers you find.

Antarctica is at the South Pole and covered in ice so it is not a suitable place to live. The only people who live there are teams of scientists studying the ice and the penguins. There are no countries in Antarctrica, although many of the countries of the world have claimed bits of it.
