How many cortisone injections are you suppose to have?

I'm a 16 year female. I've had 3 cortisone injections in my shoulder, two in last two months. I also play softball too. I've had surgery on my right shoulder this year in January. I'm confused, Please help.

Generally they say that you can have a cortisone injection every 3-4 months, with no more than 4 a year.You need to find out what is going on with that shoulder,and what needs to be done for treatment. You are too young to be having chronic problems/pain. You also need to let the should rest/heal.No sports.
