Depending on every other countries outlook of who is a recognized country it differs but there is like 195 countries on Earth.

There's technically 193 (possibly more, but some like in Africa get rejected all the time) but it really depends the way you look at places like Antartica and Islands.

places like taiwan and kosovo are sometimes considered contries.

There is 195 but the number does change with countries separating or becoming independent. 195 is not to be confused with 192 which is the number of countries in the United Nations which it is most of the time.
