How many countries make up the United Nations?

Are they all connected, or what makes them the 'UN'. Are they all Asian or European?

Also, why is Europe considered a western society when it is in the east?

Currently 192 Member States, all over the world.

The UN headquarters is in New York.

They are not connected, and they are the United Nations.

Basically top leaders from each country are in 1 "super" organization.
