  1. I assume you mean, how much concrete will a 60 pound bag of Quikrete make? That would be 0.45 cubic feet (see spec data in sources below). And an 80 pound bag yields 0.60 cubic feet.

However, if you are looking to do a project, you may want to use the convenient concrete calculator, also in sources below. You enter the dimensions of your project and it will tell you how many bags you'll need.

  2. 60 pounds X (1 cubic foot / 150 pounds) = .40 cubic feet

  3. First of all, concrete is not sold in bags; cement is.

When you buy cement, typically the bag weighs 94 lbs.

The cement by itself cannot make concrete..you need water and a mixture of fine and coarse aggregate in proper proportions.

Typically it takes 5 sacks of cement, thousands of pounds of aggregate and many gallons of water to make approximately 27 cubic feet of concrete.

For the cement alone which weighs approximately 94 lbs, and knowing that the density of cement is approximately 90 lbs/cubic ft, the bag of cement can occupy approximately 1 cubic foot.
