  1. It's about 3 3/4 cups

    Enjoy!

  2. 1 Pound of sugar powder is 3 8/10 Cup (US) or 3 1/8 Cup (UK)

Here's link where you can convert the other things you want.

  3. 3 1/2

  4. 1 pound of confectioner's sugar = 4.54 cups of sifted confectioner's sugar

    1 pound of confectioner's sugar = 3.78 cups unsifted confectioner's sugar.

This is according to http://www.gourmetsleuth.com  This program uses the average weight of an ingredient given a certain volume.

I'm sure some people will answer who will tell you there are 8 oz in a cup and 16 oz in one pound, so 2 cups are in a pound.  This is not true!

Fluid ounces and weight ounces are completely different and are not interchangeable.  For, example, a cup of lead pellets and a cup of feathers both occupy 8 fl. oz of volume.  However, neither one will WEIGH 8 ounces.

Every ingredient has a different density.  The only way to do volume/weight conversions is to look at a chart to see how much a cup of some ingredient weighs (i.e. gourmetsleuth).

  5. Obviously it depends on the size of the cup.

  6. I have a one pound box of confectioners sugar and according to the nutrition facts there are 15 servings per box and one serving is 1/4 cup.

That makes one pound equal to 3 and 3/4 cups.
