How many cups of dry pasta would you use for a side dish for 20 people?

its bowties (farfalle) and it's for a BBQ so there's lots of other food there too.

1/2 a pound per person. Or one box should be enough for 4 to 5 people

5 pounds....fiqure about 4-6 ounces per person for a side dish

1/2 CUP per person.....I do a 1 pound box of dry pasta for 8 people.  so maybe 3 pounds.

2 oz per person as a side dish. 1/4 cup

4-5 oz. per person if main course.1/2 cup

hey ally 3 or 4 pounds is cool unless u make an awesome pasta salad then double it i'm a big fan of pasta salad!!!!!!
