How many cups of regular chocolate chips is one square of BAKERS chocolate?

if the recipe calls for 1 square then they mean to use to whole thing. If the recipe calls for 1 oz then you only need 1/2 that square.

Don't measure them out in a measuring cup as it is a weight measure not volume. So you need a kitchen scale of some kind and then measure out 2 oz worth.

Each square weighs 1 ounce.....  There are 8 oz. in a cup, but there'd be air space between those chips if you put them into a cup.  You'd do better weighing them on a digital scale to get 1 ounce.  Otherwise, it might be as much as 1/4 c. to get an accurate measurement of actual chocolate in chocolate chips.....
