  1. 6-8 glasses and sometimes

  2. 64 oz. a day is the recommended daily dosage.

I usually drink between 24-64oz. a day. Of course I deliver water for a living....

  3. Needing eight glasses of water per day is a myth!!  In April 2008, BBC News ran an article (and so did local news stations), revealing that people should only drink when they're thirsty, period.  We don't need eight glasses.

  4. 6 to 8  eight ounce glasses a day is what we all are supposed to drink..........I don't drink nearly as much as I should. With our bodies being 83% liquid, you would think we should continuously be hydrating ourselves.

  5. Most doctors tell you to consume 8 glasses (64 ounces) of LIQUID a day. That does not mean you drink a half gallon (64 ounces) every day. The liquid in your food counts toward that liquid intake. If you consume very wet foods (like soup), you should drink a little less. If you consume very dry foods (like chips), you would drink a little more. If your liquid intake is too much, it can do as much damage to your kidneys as drinking too little.

  6. 8 i drink a ton of tea and bootled water some days i get more an some less

  7. Depends on your body size.  I keep hearing 8 glasses a day from doctors, but if you ask people who are extremely buff, working out every day, taking care of their bodies, they say one to two gallons a day of water.

I love ice water.  On a normal day I only drink about 5 glasses though.

  8. Yes, you can die if you drink too much. It's called water intoxication but it is difficult to determine how much will be harmful, as it has to do with the amount of electrolytes you have in your body at the time.

  9. You are supposed to drenk 8 glasses aday.

  10. You should drink half your body weight in ounces everyday.

No I do not drink that much water everyday.

  11. The recommended average is eight 8-oz. glasses a day, but while you're drinking (which I assume you might on occasion since your question is under Beer, Wine & Spirits) drink one-for-one (as in one 8-oz. glass for each shot of hard liquor, glass of wine, or beer), and you'll avoid the vast majority of a hangover, which happens mainly because you dehydrate.

  12. youre supposed to drink 8 glasses a day, but people dont realize that throughout the entire day what you eat (like fruits and vegetables) have a high water content. SO you dont actually need to physically drink 8 full glasses from the tap, youre probably getting 8 glasses just from other things you eat and drink. BUT i definately drink 8 or more glasses a day, water is the only thing i really drink

  13. everyone says 8 glasses of water a day but personally i dont think its necessary! you know, there is such thing as an OD on water. i think maybe 5-6. but if ur drinking other liquids not as much.

  14. That whole 8 glasses of water a day is bullshit. It has no scientific basis. You're supposed to drink water when you're thirsty.

  15. I read one time in Weight Watcher's Magazine about a formula that determines this because it DOES depend on your weight and height!  Sorry, I forgot what it was and I don't have that magazine (I borrowed it from the library).  But the safest bet if you don't feel like doing the math is 60 ounces of water.  I usually drink 40-60 ounces of water.  For some reason, I drink less during the weekend though. I think it's because at work I always have a certain amount of water with me in an insulated lunch cooler at my desk.

  16. 1 gallon at least...

    Yes I do actually...

  17. 8 glasses of water for daily activities is ideal for everyone.

I drink more than 8 glasses of water during my activities in the office but I drink less than 8 glasses when I'm home or in my holidays.

Perhaps I just drink less than 5 glasses of water.

I drink less at home cause I usually forget to drink water.

  18. You're supposed to drink at least 8 8 ounce glasses of water per day, but as long as you drink other liquids such as juice, tea, ect. you are fine. I drink lots of fluids throughout the day, but am not a big fan of water all the time.

  19. 8 glasses of water.  Each glass should be 8 ounces.  So 64 ounces of water a day... and yes I get my daily amount.

Remember water is in soda, juice drinks, and Gatorade type drinks.  So those DO count for your daily amount.

  20. You're supposed to drink about 8 glasses of water a day, and no, I don't really drink that much unless I'm completely thirsty. It's not bad if you don't, just as long as you drink a fair amount during the day so you don't get dehydrated, then you'll be ok

  21. Well it depends on your weight, mass

    all your factors really

Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. For your body to function properly, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water.

    but probably about 13 cups

I drink about two bottles of water a day

but i fill them up probably about eight times each

  22. you should drink 8 glasses of water a day. (64 ounces) i try to but i dont everyday

  23. You usually have to drink 7 or 8 a day. xD

    It can be difficult.

  24. 8 glasses of water

  25. about 8, I do more or less. But too much water can kill ya! And that's a fact! But only like a lot a lot!

  26. According to many doctors and scientists the body needs atleast 8 cups of water daily to properly function. I dont drink that much water a day but i drink very close to it.

  27. You should drink at least 8 8oz cups a day.  The best thing to do to help you drink that much...and then some is to get one of those "water coolers" for the frig.  They have them at Wal-Mart/ Target for like $7 and they hold anywhere from 2-4 gallons of water.  You would have to see how much room you have in your frig. Fill it up at night and drink all day.  It is much easier to drink water that is cold.  Put a sticker on the outside of it to mark the spot you want to drink too.  Say....I am going to drink this much today...and do it.

Another thing you can do is to freeze water bottles and take them with you if you are going out.  I will freeze one all the way and then 1 half of the way.  I put water in the 1/2 frozen one and then let the other one melt.  You can always fill them up if you are going to be out with more water.  Makes it a lot easier, cheaper and better for you if you are out shopping than grabbing a soda.

    Good luck

  28. 8 cups a day.

I actually do, I drink about 4 bottles a water everyday so that's probably equivalent to 8 cups.

  29. The running theory is 8 12oz glasses a day. Funny thing is, nobody knows where this information comes from. There was a study to find out where the study was that came up with that number and the question was never answered. Although, that does seem to be a good amount of water to drink.

  30. its 8 cups a day actally, i drink more than that to help keep my body from wanting food all the time, water helps fill you up and keeps you active. hope that helps

  31. 8 & yes, maybe double that a day.
