I heard you supposed to drink 8 cups of water a day but isn't that too much? and if true then why so many? Would there be something wrong if I drink like only 2 cups or maybe to many a day?

  1. there is no doubt water is good for you, but you should just drink it when you are thirsty.  I personally think the 8 glasses per day was proven to be a myth.  You need to keep yourself hydrated, but your thirst senses will make you drink.  Oh, and drink water, not sodas

  2. we, it's quite a complicated question, but I shall do my best. As you are probably aware, the human body is almost entirely made up of water and it is important to keep things in good fluidity. It is important to keep the natural balance of bodily fluids in check. I would recommend 500 litres per hour.

  3. I've heard three different things about water:

    1.  Same thing you heard about 8 cups of water per day.  But I think they meant eight 8oz cups of water...not 8 huge tall glasses.  8oz is one cup.

    2.  Everyone needs a different amount of water.  Take your weight, divide it by two.  That's supposedly how many ounces of water you're supposed to drink in a day.

    3.  Having to drink all that water every day is an old wives' tale.  I think it's Dr. Oz that's been talking about the basic make-up of our food.  If we eat the things we're supposed to eat, we will get all the water we need because most fruits and vegetables are already made up of mostly water, like we are.  I think he also said that you will know when you're not getting enough fluids...by looking at your poo and if your skin is dry...?  (You will have to google Dr. Oz & water to see if I repeated that correctly.)

It seems that no matter what we're told about things we SHOULD be doing, in a few years it will change again anyways, lol.

  4. its recommended for an adult to drink 8 x 8 fluid oz of water yet this can be from tea or flaoured water or coffee to be fair its to maintain hydration in the body and keeping salt levels down

  5. it your weight, divided by two:)

  6. yes you are meant to drunk 8 cups of water a day, which is 2 litres.

the reason is this is the amount of water needed to keep your body functioning properly.if you only have 2 that means the water isn't getting to everywhere it's needed and you're going to get dehydrated.i think it's like if you have more than 200litres in 2 hours than your body shuts down and the water starts coming out uncontrolably.

so try to get 8 cups a day.

if you dont like water, have tea or put some lemon in to your water.
