How many days before and after my period do i wear a pad/tampon? ?

when your on your period do you wear a pad/tampon the week your on if not how long before and after???

i wear a pad...but i put on the pad the day that my period comes on...i know when mines is on because i will have cramps for maybe 2 days before hand and then the day of i will get back pains instead...but yeah i use pads, im scared to use tampons

after: depends on how long/heavy your flow is

I usually wear pantyliners a couple weeks before my period, so I don't start wearing pads until I actually see my period start.  It's a waste to use them more than that, plus you don't have to walk around with a pad in your underwear more than you have to.

i heard wearing a tampon b4 u get ur period is reall bad for you coz it can get stuck in there.. just what i heard

Wear a panty liner before you are about to get it. Tampons during. Pads at night and very light tampons when you are finishing up.

you shud only wear it wen you start you r period. and that person who said tampnos can get stuck. UMM  NO THEY CANT

You only need to wear a pad/tampon if you're actively bleeding.  If your flow is light before or after your period (or at the beginning and end), you can use pantyliners.  Never use a tampon when you're not on your period, and never leave a tampon when you're not on your period or leave one in longer than recommended, as that can lead to Toxic Shock Syndrome.
