  1. If you are referring to a vehicle sales contract, once you sign the contract, you own the car. There is no 'cooling off' period. The only thing that would 'break'  the contract is if funding was denied.


  2. For a vehicle purchase, none.  You don't even have an hour.

    You sign it, it's yours unless the dealer agrees to break the contract.

  3. As the previous respondents have said, "none". Once you sign the deal on a car contract, it's carved in stone.

    If it's a sales contract for something other than a vehicle, and the sales pitch was made in your home, you have 3 days under federal law to rescind the contract.
