How many days do you need to learn Stairway to Heaven and play it well?

Of all the songs I've learned, this one was actually the hardest.  It took me months before I had it down.  It was however one of the first songs that I learned that used finger-picking.  That was years ago and now finger-picking comes very natural.  I'm sure that if I were to try learning it now, it would be much easier.

So I suppose it depends on how well coordinated your picking fingers are because the chords aren't that difficult.

It took me no time at all.

(I'm a flute player and I only had to cover the recorder parts in the intro and first verse).

It is said that for a complete beginner a month is needed. I would need one day utmost at my current level (3 years of playing). It depends on the level of the player, I can't help you if I don't know your level you know.

I recommend you to learn the studio version, not live.
