  1. As Glurpy and Curly said, there are no requirements.  We live in IL also.  We school year-round, taking breaks as needed.


  2. There is no legal requirement for number of days. You could follow the public school requirements (176 days), but you are not legally required to.

Hello, I'm sure if you are a home school student, you can work and go to school. first, it depends on your age. if you are under 18 years old then you can still work and finish your school courses. so there is really no number of days that require a student to work and go to school as long as you are getting your education. you are going to need it. and keep up the good work. if you are working and going to school.
