  1. I've heard anywhere from 14-28 days.

  2. I know for a kid it takes 1 cigarette to start smoking, and an adult 3. It took me 5 weeks to get into the habit of running everyday!

  4. Each individual is different in terms of how they learn and how long it will take them to learn something, but the usual average is about 21 days to make something into a habit.

  5. A professor told me 14days...he had us try to test this theory.

We would all wake up, when looking in the morning we were supposed to smile and say Good Morning (in a perky/loud voice)...after day 14, I can't stop saying Good Morning to myself in that manner.

But it could be just me...

Took me about a yr.  I was a slow learner.

  8. Mum always told me it took 3 days to make a habit and 3 weeks to break one.

  10. 14 days or 2 weeks is the concensus.  But for some people it can only take one day.
