I guess that depends on how bad your memory is.  Actually, I don't really know the answer to what you meant to ask but I can tell you who does:  find the closest Indian consulate and ask them plus they will be the ones to actually make it happen.

First!

Report it to the nearest Police station.

Second-Inform Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

Also inform Service Canada.

Last-apply at the nearest Indian Consulate for new passport and u have to submit proof i.e-police report etc(Vancouver or Ottawa depending on your jurisdiction.Like for those in Alberta,the Vancouver consulate of India takes care)

The Indian consulate will request the Canadian Government for a full Canada search for you passport.
