How many days does it take to learn java 5 basic and advanced ,if I know C?

it depends on your capacity. How fast you can understand the concepts .    

But c is procedure oriented programming language but java is object oriented programming language . you  may feel bit difficult

Define what you mean by "Learn", and how long you would expect it to take!

You never really stop using the references, you will however eventually come to memorize the syntaxes and functions you use the most. Of cause someone may very well remember everything, but i've yet to encounter anyone.

Now, I'm no Java programmer, but what you refer to sounds more like a days worth of dedicated attention to me, but then again, i tend to have a clear goal of what i want to make, and then i simply either figure it our or i don't.

With no past experience in any programming language, i'd say a few days at most, it would of cause take longer to learn how to create anything useful from it.

Thats where i'd say its better to have something specific you want to make, and then simply try making it. Because its likely that you learn a lot more like this, then by trying all sorts of examples.

30 days for java5 basics  and 90 days for advance java

It depends on your grasping power but the topics you have mentioned does not relate wih C.

Knowing C helps you understand the basic programming concepts and the programming structures which you will find similar in java as well like for loop, if, switch etc... so in that respect you can pick up basic java very well. But java is based on OOP so you need to understand the OOP concepts and then proceed with the advanced part.

I feel you need at least 1-2 months with rigorous practice to find all the topics in your fingertips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
