... in order to guarantee two seats in a first class cabin from Moscow to Beijing to be purchased at the train station in Moscow? And, typically how much would that cost (in RUB or USD?) Lastly, are the train prices seasonal, or do they adhere to a pretty constant rate? Thanks!!

  1. You can buy Russian train tickets either at the train station or from the web site below up to 45 days in advance of your departure. The fares vary with the season, but set a year in advance, and do not fluctuate.

Travel agents can also get the tickets for you, but they often charge obscene markups.

Russian railways list the current train fares at this website -->
