days or rounds? rounds are actual days in which the competition takes place. then in that case it would be 4. the first round begins on thursday with the final round coming on sunday. as for   days i dont know because usually there is a pro-am, practice round and practice days.

Four days.  But some players will be eliminated after two days opening rounds.  It's called missing the cut.  This is how all other golf tournaments are played (excluding match play).  Sometimes it can stretch to five days if for any reason they have to delay completing the round on the same day due to bad weather or slow play.
