How many days late from your period before you start to worry?

I'm 5 days late now and not feeling cramps or anything yet. I had unprotected s*x about 3 weeks ago, but he didn't ejaculate. Should I wait a few more days or start to think about getting a pregnancy test. How many days late have you been?

I think a week is about a good enough time to wait..but if u are really stressing about this it could be causing it to be late

nobody knows your body as well as you if it is unusual for you to be late then i'd think about getting a test.I was about a week late when i got  a test

At least a week, our menses can delay for many reasons, but being 5 days late you can take a test and find out right now.

i was begining to worrie at about 9 days. But i am normaly very regular it would all depend on my cycle as to weather i would be worried or not. Try a test...you never know. Home tests show an accurate result 4 days BEFOR you miss your period so no harm in trying now i figure :)

i would definitely get a test.

you can even find out before your missed period with some tests but for your piece of mind. plus if you had s*x in the middle of your cycle you were most likely ovulating.

ive only ever been 5 days late when ive been pregnant, my cycle is regular though, if 5 days is unusual for you you could well be pregnant or very stressed.

So it's like this, even if he didn't a little bit still makes a mess.  It's like a soda, if you open it after it has already been shaken up you still have some that leaks out and makes a sticky mess.  Same for when you have s*x.

If your 5 days late maybe it's time for you to go buy a test.  

When I found out I was preggo with my son, I didn't find out until 13 and 1/2 weeks.  I know that is a long time to find out, but I also had implamtation bleeding which apperas like a period but lighter by far.  it was when i missed it completely the next month I took 2 test and within 30 secons I found out.

you can take the test now. i was a week late and all my tests came up negative. i had to get a blood test to find out the  truth so if u take a test and its negative but still no period, call the doctor and get a beta blood test

i took 3 tests and got 3 positives when i was 4 days late....and i wasnt worried....i was excited!

I have NEVER once been over 3 days late and NOT been Pregnant...so when day # 4 rolled around there was never a doubt...I was Pregnant

get a test, if you are pregnant the test will be an accurate result five days after a missed period. good luck. and even if the guy doesn't ejaculate, you can still get pregnant.

you can actually take a test 5 days before your missed period. a test should tell you now. and if you can wait take it right away in the morning when you get up, there more accurate that way

You can still get pregnant from pre-ejaculate AND it only takes one sperm to fertilize an egg.  I would test today.  Just to either stop worrying about it or know for sure.  I hope you get the answer you want.

Go to your Gynecologist and ask for a blood test... that should put your mind at ease.
