  1. 365 days man... What school did you go to? Didn't they have geography there or earth science?


  2. He/She probably meant sunny days, as in the sun is actually shining and not covered by clouds. If I'm not mistaken and have done the maths right, it should be between 1500 and 1700 hours a year of actual sunshine in Germany...which is clearly "not" every day!

  3. A. Don't think a person's an idiot if they don't know that Germany is in Northern europe, not in scandinavia. To me Germany is a bit more central-eastern europe than northern.

    B. The sun shines in germany every day, however, just like in the rest of the world, days get shorter in the winter. They don't however get short enough that there is pure darkness. That happens only in the far north: Alaska, Scandinavia, Siberia, greenland, etc.

  5. 365. I don't think any areas in Germany are far north enough to have days that are completely dark.
