How many days should be spent in one city?

How many days would you spend in one city when traveling interstate or overseas? How many days would you dedicate to a smaller city compared to a bigger city?

depends on the city.....small city, not a lot to do can be done in one day.....city like Paris or London, at least 5 days if you really want to experience the city.

In a small city, I would probobly spend maybe a day shopping around, just looking. A bigger city, has more features so we would spend about 2 days.
