How many days until my kitty is feeling better after taking antibiotic? its been 3days.?

hes 2 years old and he's been snotty and sneezing for 8 days. He started antibiotic about 2 1/2 days ago. He only eats soft food and no water. he is only urinating he hasn't done anything else since he's been sick. All he does is sleep and sneeze, he will not even come to u when u call him now. When will he be back to his old self again?

If he's got flu or something it can take a while for them to get back to their usual self.  He should be a bit better after 3 days though, so call the vet just to check.  If he's not eating much he will be quite weak and need his rest, make sure he's comfortable and warm.  And if he's not eating solids, he will only pee.  Not drinking any water is more of a worry... have you tried some catmilk (not human milk, that's bad for them)..?  Good luck, hope he gets better soon

If he has a URI, it could take a week or 2 to recover. Why don't you call your vet & ask? I'm sure they can advise you over the phone. Best of luck.

Three days is long enough, I would take him back to the vet for a check-up. The poor kitty could have allergies.
