How many days will it take to mail a letter from California to Montreal,Canada?

I just mailed a letter from Irvine,CA to a friend in Montreal, Canada yesterday. I'd like to know how many days will it take for my letter to get there.

In my humble opinion, I'd say about three or four days.

Next time, just send your friend an e-mail - it will be lot quicker and most likely won't get lost in transit either!

You obviously have a computer with Internet access, correct?

Typically, mail sent from the US to Canada takes anywhere between 3 and 7 days, depending upon the distance.  Given the distance you're talking about, a letter sent yesterday will show up sometime by the middle of next week in Montreal.
