How many delta skymiles are needed for a flight from LIT to MGM?

how many delta skymiles are needed for a flight from LIT to MGM during August (any days)...is there any way to get discounted flights other than places like orbitz/expedia/etc. I have found them to be more expensive.

Delta.com is showing pretty good availability for SkyMiles award tickets for this month.  Little Rock to Montgomery will cost you 25,000 miles, regardless if it is one-way or roundtrip.  This is the typical base number of miles required for an award ticket for travel within the continental U.S. for a SkySaver award ticket.  Delta also has another award ticket level with fewer restrictions called the SkyChoice award ticket.  They typically require twice as many miles as the SkySaver ticket.  Since LIT-MGM is a very short distance to be spending 25,000 miles, you may want to check out various airlines' own websites for their lowest airfares.  Airline websites are typically the best places to find the lowest airfares because places such as Expedia and Orbitz tack on a fee of at least a few dollars for their services.
