How many diapers do you take with you when you go out?

I try to have 6 in the diaper bag at all times!

The diaper bag  for my 5 week old consists of:

Anywhere from 6 - 15 diapers, just in case

One pack of travel wipes

Two outfits in case he dirties them

An empty gallon size ziploc bag for the outfits or whatever

Two cloth diapers (one for burping, one for the changing pad)

One travel changing pad

Large receiving blanket for nursing in public

I think thats it!  I would much rather be prepared than not!

When my daughter used them, I took at least that many with me.  She is at the sitter's all day, plus I always took into the consideration that a major natural disaster could occur and we'd be stuck somewhere other than our home with only the diapers I had packed in her bag, so I tended to overpack as opposed to not!  LOL  Seriously, though.  It's good when you're at Grandma's and she offers to keep my daughter overnight or whatever, then I never had to run home to grab extra stuff.  My daughter just turned 4, but I still do the same when it comes to extra outfits, socks, and underpants.

If I am only going to be out for a couple hours (2-4) then I will get 5-6 diapers.If I am going to be for any longer I will grab anywhere from 10-20.I also bring extra outfits and extra formula.I always like to be prepared,you never know what will happen.

At least 5-6 diapers in her bag. I also have an emergency bag in the car with 10-15 more diapers and baby's formula/food, blankets, bibs, etc.

Lol I'm paronoid.... so I have about 8 or 9 diapers and 4 or 5 bottles at all times even if i'm just going to the store!!!

And of course more if I know I will be out all day!!! =-)

if we go out far, i pack at least 50 but for a short trip....at least 15

Depends where I am going. Like if I am dropping my daughter off at a sitters for a couple hours or more I have at least 5. If overnight then definitely at least 10.

I'm the same as Inked Mommy, I go overboard too. I probably have around 15. We just keep a handful in the diaper bag, I usually change him before we leave so its not often I change him while I'm out.

On an avg. day I pack about 6 diapers. If we are going to a family member's house and I know I'll be there for a while, I may take 7 or 8, just in case. Plus, you still have to fit the wipes, bottle, and maybe a toy or two. :)

I take between 10-15 with me because it seems like when I don't take a huge stash we end up being out longer than we intended.  For some reason lately every time we are going somewhere for a short time we end up in the ER and then I end up borrowing diapers!

I haven't stopped to count. I ushually grab a stack of diapers and put them into the bag. Probably around 10. I also always have an emergnecy diaper in the glove box.

I have around 5 or 6. That along with my mini case of wipes and my butt paste! I'm not usually gone long though, I'm sure if I stayed out longer I'd put more diapers in it.

I have fill it up with 10 and then use until they are gone and then another 10.  I dont take the bag out of the car anymore, I have doubles of things so I dont need it in the house (gripe water, medicine soother, wipes, blankets, etc)  I use a seperate "cooler" thingy for the bottles!!  THAT comes in and out with me!!  lol...obviously!!

I change him before we leave. I pack 1 cloth diaper for a short trip and 2 or more for a long trip. He is 2 1/4 years old lol

It depends on where I'm going.  If I'm just going to be out for an hour or so, I don't take any... (I have an emergency stash in my car)

But if we are going to be out all day, around 5-6, just in case.

my sister has a 5 month old and she carries at least 7 in the diaper bag and i have extras at my house when they visit.
