How many different brand names of Jet Skis are there?

Question

Such as Honda, Yamaha, Polaris, and of course Sea-Doo. What others are there and how can I leran the most I can about them. I love them and am enthusiastic to learn more and more.....

Do yourself and your wallet a favor and don't get a Sea "Doo".  They're the only brand with a dedicated hate website called SeaDoosucks.com. Anything is better than a seadoo!  They're just a glorified snowmobile engines fer chrissakes.

Some other major manufacturers who used to make jet skis were Polaris and  Tigershark, and there are or were  a few more obscure manufacturers like Hydrospace or Wetbike.

Which one is best is a matter of debate, for each person who raves about their particular brand you'll find another person who'll claim that same brand is the biggest POS that ever floated. You can check and see if there are any local clubs in your area, most members are a freindly bunch and would only be too happy to talk about jetskis.

Marine repair shops or other places that fix and service jetskis are a good source of information on what potential problems some skis might have.

I am also a jet ski fanatic, and Kawasaki also sells jet skis. The best brand of jet skis is probably sea-doo, although one of the most expensive brands, they have the best quality for your money. Personally, Sea-doos are my favorite because I own one of their jet skis. Visit www.sea-doo.com if you want to learn about their jet skis. The second best brand is probably Yamaha, my uncle owns one and I hear they are very good quality jet skis also. Visit a motor-sports store near you if you'd like to see one. You can also go to any of the brands' websites and try to locate a dealer.
