How many different gods did the Vikings worship?

And what was their religion actually called? Wasn't it Norse Paganism or Norse mythology or something? Hmm well if that is what it is then can you tell me a bit about the different aspects of it? I know that kind of a lot hehe but don't blame me blame my history teacher for giving me these questions, and also everyone in the Dark Ages for not writing stuff down lol :D xx
