I think classic names like that should be spelt as they were originally. When people try and modernise them it just looks wrong, it's overdone and other people will often get the spelling and pronounciation wrong. Nicole is alovely name but I think you should keep it as it is.

I like it Nicole. otherways are Nikole, Nikhole, Nacole, Nachole, Nakhole, Nakole. Nycole, Nychole, Nykole, Nykhole.

thats how  mine is spelled.  not many people spell it like that.  i get alot of comments on it.  you could also think about:

my name is nicola and i prefer it without a h so if i was to spell nicole i would prefer it without the h. its uneccessary effort for it to be there and then will make people spell your name wrong making you feel awkward especially because people put the h after the c i/e nichola people pronounce it nitchola so i prefer it without :D!

Nichole I think is a hideous spelling of it, I mean Nic-Hole?  Ugh!  Why emphasise the "hole" bit?

Nichole all the way!  It is the feminine version of the traditional Nicholas.  Those saying it emphasizes "hole", that is ridiculous and you are not ghetto spelling it!  You are making it look better!!!  That's my sis' middle name and I love it!
