  1. 16

  2. 16, but the cw2 is the three digit code on the back of the card on the signature panel

  3. There are 16 digits in a Visa card number.  The cvv2 is the 3 digit number on the back of the card that many vendors use to verify that you are actually in possession of the card.  It is not contained in the magnetic strip of the card, and should never be given out unless you are sure of who you are talking to or dealing with.

  4. There are 16 digits on a standard Visa card.

The CVV2 (card verification value) is a number printed on the card (usually on the back).  The number is generated when the card is issued, by encrypting the card number and expiration date under a key known only to the issuing bank. Supplying this code in a transaction is intended to verify that the customer has the card in their physical possession.

    Hope this helps!

  5. 16 digits if you mean the card number

+8 if you add the valid from and expiration dates

Also more on back if you count the security feature, and even more if there is a phone number for customer service.
