  1. (1  /  2 )     (1  /  3)       (1  /  4)      (1  /  5 )      (1  /  6 )             (2  / 3 )        (2  /  4 )     ( 2  /  5 )      (2  /   6 )      (3  /  4 )             ( 3  /  5 )        (3  /  6)     ( 4  /  5 )     (4  /  6)       (5  /  6 )            There are 15 doubles in 6 selections. And if 1 horse loses then you lose 5 bets and if another loses then you lose a further 4 bets so tread carefully.

  2. 6 selections = 15 doubles / 20 trebles /15 fourfolds / 6 fivefolds and 1 sixfold.

However, as with all multiple betting, mega bets are lost with each loser, but the bookies love it and will display all winners as an incentive for you to bet multiples.

Stick to singles. But if you must, do a patent, three horses, three singles, three doubles and an accumulator.

  3. to work out how many double there are in any no. of selections multipy the no. of selections by one number less than it's self then divide that figure by two. ie.

    6(selections) * 5 = 30

    30 / 2 = 15 (no. of doubles).

see, not only have i answered you question but i've shown you how to work it out for yourself next time. thats got to be worth 10 points?
