Is one bottle of beer ok? I am going to my friends birthday and I want to drive. I don't want to drink much but maybe one or two beers max.

  1. The problem with saying "I'll just have one beer" is that somewhere along the line, you may have someone buy you another, and you don't want to waste it or insult that person by not drinking it, and then somewhere along the way, you may reach three.

When you say "Sorry, but I am driving", you stay alcohol free and some places will give you soft drinks for free. Your friend can also drink and not be worried about how he/she gets home.

  2. Why even bother with the first one, duh.. No offense intended here pal but since alcohol affects everyone differently, why even bother. Be the designated driver and a true friend to your buddy. And while 1 drink(beer) won't put you over the legal limit, the police can issue a 24 hour suspension and then where would you be?

  3. Not a good move to drink here at all but one beer should be ok. They are pretty nasty if they smell a tiny little bit of beer on your breath you might see them check everything and find something wrong with your car also. Drink and sleep in or take a cab.

  4. It is 0.08. Use the chart to figure it out by body weight

  5. Depending on the your size and weight, that will determine your capacity, and in Quebec as in any other province the legal limit is .08 ppm of alcohol in the blood, so if your blow anything near that or over your in some hot water, the Surete du Quebec frowns on that very much, or the local police too.

But 2 beers, make them light ones will not put you over the limit, I am 6' 5" and 300 lbs, a former chef and it took much more than that for me, but I never had a licence so I never worried.

  6. i think u need a few drinks to drive in montreal...
