How many drops of ammo lock (water conditioner) do u add to a 2.5 fish tank

  1. Ammo Lock is not a good thing to use.  It's not a water conditioner but is meant to decrease ammonia.  It really only "locks" it up but it's still in the water.  A 2.5 G tank should be treated the same as a bowl and have total water changes every 3 days although they really aren't a suitable home for any fish.

  3. Just read the instructions, if it says like....10 drops for every 10 gallons, put 1/4 of that, or a little more to be on the safe side.

    i have the same product

    it says 1 tsp per 10 us gallons

    so 10 divided by 2.5 (im guessing gallons) = 4

    so 1/4 of a teaspoon

    i guess

    i may be wrong but i think i am right
