Im buying a Lacie Premier Entertainment Storage Hardisk that could transfer all my collection dvd, and I choose maximum capacity 1Terabytes? Could you give me idea?

  1. Most theatrical dvd's are dual layer and can hold up to 8.54 gb of which the average main feature will run between 4 and 5 gb so the 210 answer is good, but if you add extra features like deleted scenes it will probably drop it down to 175, assuming an additional 1 gb.

    You could increase these numbers by shrinking the files when you rip them.


  2. Given that a DVD can typically hold 4.7Gb of data, then the 1Tera-Byte disc could hold up to about 210 DVDs' worth of films!
