  1. Thats fantastic Congratulations!

Im still waiting for a par 4 or par 3 eagle.

I had one on a 476 metre par 5 (512 yards?) last year on Sept 11

I had a great drive then a great 3 wood off the deck and chipped in for eagle! Was very excited - won that hole against my dad and lost everyting else! :-)

Oh and gp, I think you're full of bull.

  2. I dont count how many eagles i had, but the best one was on a 535 yard par 5 and i hit a terrible drive into the right rough (rough being a relative term, bc this wasnt really rough). I hit a 35 yard cut under the tree in front of me and hit it pure. I watched the ball land on the green at about 3 feet and roll into the cup.

    Amazing feeling

  3. As far as the ball goes these days, eagles are common place.  I've had I'd guess several hunded of them.  But probably less than 10 were hole outs from more than 50 yards.  I had an ace on a 210 par 3 2 months ago.  That might be my favorite.

    A thumbs down?!  for what?!!

  4. my best was holing out from 170 yards on a long par 4 (hit 7 iron, it kicked left and rolled into the hole)

that was when i was 15 (20 now)

as for how many ive had i dont really know but atleast 12

  5. I'm not sure how many I've had, but during the school golf year last year I had 6.

My greatest eagle ever was when I was playing a round with my best friend and his grandpa. We were on a uphill par 3 which has a blind, three tiered green, about 120 yards. I hit my sand wedge and it looked real shot, then we lost sight of the ball when it hit the blind green. When I got up there I was looking through all the bunkers for my ball, then when I crossed the green to check another bunker I found my ball sitting in the cup =]

My second best was on a 540 yard par 5. I crushed my drive and was only sitting 160 out for my second shot. I hit my pitching wedge and rolled it to 1 inch! I was praying for a double eagle, but "unfortuneatly" had to tap in for eagle =D

  6. Only one. It was a 472 yard par 5. I got on in two out of two inch rough from 220, to about 45 feet. I screamed loud when the putt went in. Louder than ever. Only one though. And i brag about it to my playing partners whenever i play that easy 9th hole at Springtown golf course.

  7. I'm 29, 5'11"

Hey gp, you've only had a few hundred? I've had 7,000 give or take. It's pretty rare that I only get one in a round. I usually have three or four. One time I holed out with a 9i from 240 yards. It was tubular!!!

  8. Congratulations on your first Eagle!

I have no clue how many I've had, but the ones that stick out are definitely the ones that were holed out from the fairway or chipped in from off the green...had just a few of those.

Im still waiting for the ultimate Eagle, the elusive Hole In One.  Ive been so close so many times, but that d**n pill just dosnt seem to want to drop for me.

There is one that I remember vividly.  It was two Winters ago at The Champions Club outside of Miami, FL.  I was on vacation, and had one day to play Golf.  I was in the midst of one of my worst rounds since I started playing the game seriously.  I desperately needed something good to happen, or the score I put up was gonna eat at me the rest of the vacation.  Im not sure which hole, but somewhere around 14 or 15, there is a short, 340 yard par 4.  I had been hitting the driver terrible all day, and decided to unload on one to see if I could get to the green.  Its a blind shot, with a fairway bunker rising up and blocking the view of the green.  I nailed it, right along the target line.  I knew it was good, but I didnt know where it ended up.  My playing partners hit their approach shots, and we then headed around the bunker and got our first view of the green.  I looked up, and there was my ball sitting about 3 inches from the cup.  It was on line, and would have went in if I had hit it just a bit harder.  I tapped it in for Eagle, then went on to butcher every hole as we came in.  A very forgettable round, with one of my most memorable shots mixed in.

    Funny game, huh?

  9. I've only hit one so far. I've been golfing for about 15 months. It's amazing how many people who've replied seem to have sunk a bunch of eagles. Everyone I talk to at any course rarely says they've ever hit one. Anyway, mine came on a Par 5, good drive, good wood shot and the ball was laying on the right side of the fairway about 100 yards out. The pin was on the right side of the green with about 2 feet of green in front of the pin. I hit the shot and took a little off, it bounced right on the fringe in front of the hole bounced twice and trickled into the hole. The best part was that three people (not including me) saw the shot and they were excited. I still want an ace and I too have come close on a number of occasions. Congrats on your eagle and hope for more to come.
