At least once a week every week. I write my hand off.

Not that much.  My class wrote about 10 the whole year.  My teacher was rather lazy at reading a lot of essays so he gave us a few essays.  But he was still a great teacher which resulted in me getting a 5 on the test.  It is definitely a manageable amount.  And anyways, in my class all the essays were in-class and the we did not know the topic beforehand.  So it was not a bother outside of class.

We had about 4 each semester.  It was a fun class and the easiest AP class I ever took.
