  1. There is currently 119 plants operating in North America.

  2. 113 and 113 too many!!!

Thier is nothing clean about ethanol.  In fact in Denver, Co when they went to 10% ethanol in all gas, the pollution has increased dramatically.  Info inclosed.  Also more fossil fuel energy is used to make ethanol than it yields. http://www.coe.berkeley.edu/labnotes/030...

Also it takes 1700 gallons of water to make 1 gallon of ethanol.  I go on forever why ethanol stinks.

Did you know it takes 323,680 pounds of water to fuel up using 28 gallons of e-85 ethanol?

  3. 117 currently, with another 75 currently being built.  And that number is expected to increase even more in the next 2-3 years as demand for the clean-burning, American-made fuel increases.  Plants are beginning to utilize wind energy and combustion of cow manure to make ethanol, mainly for cost savings.   They are saving a heap on natural gas costs by using to wind to generate the electricity needed to run the plant. Some plants are even currently making ethanol using zero fossil fuels.

Ethanol is clean, renewable, and made in America.  Gasoline is none of those things.
