  1. To be honest I object to the way that you've phrased your comments.  I'm of Pacific Island/Maori decent but I'm still a New Zealander.  Why don't you mention in your project that there's more Pacific Islanders in Auckland than there are in the Pacific Islands?  It'd help explain the large amount of Polynesians in our teams.

  2. There are a few but noone in NZ cares about that.Only the best are selected regardless of race.

    We are no South Africa

  3. The real answer is none. As every All Black fan knows, Europeans cant play for the All Blacks. I think what you really want to know, is how many European New Zealanders are in teams. I think its interesting though that white guys with blonde or red hair are classified as Maori when its clear they are predominately European.

  4. They are all New Zealanders! Otherwise they would not be eligible. And no Europeans by the way.

  5. In the 2008 squad of 30 there are 14 European NZer's.

go to allblacks.com and click on "the team". this will show you the 2008 team. alot of the others have english names but have played for the NZ Maoris or have some Maori blood in them.

    hope this helps.

  6. There are no europeans in the All Blacks, no Poms, Irish, French, Welsh, Scots or Italian. Just Kiwis.

  7. Real question is: How many ABs in Europe?

  8. i am amazed at how this question gets jumped on by the politically correct and native indignants. it is pretty obvious that we are all kiwis  but some are of european descent and some pacific island and some indian etc. gee whizz it is obviously a kid needing help with a project and we all know kids have no diplomacy when it comes to questions. so get of his back.

what may be surprising is that the european descendents have a better reading and understanding of the game than the non european descendents i quote Jonah Lomu "i didn't know what i was doing on the field - they just gave me the ball and i ran - i didn't know what the rules were or where i was supposed to play" straight from the this is your life programme.

  9. in the current squad 14 out of 28 I think
